We have a massive selection of engineered flooring to suit all tastes of budgets, whether you are looking for our bespoke Creative Wood Flooring or an exciting range of engineered exotic flooring. Each board has a hardwood layer that ranges in thickness from 1mm to 6mm. Most of our engineered boards are made in either birch, poplar or hardwood, sourced from premium quality, sustainable forests.

Installing your Engineered Hardwood Floor

Engineered flooring comes in two styles: square-edged and bevelled, both of which are used depending on what style of floor you are looking to create. Square-edged wood flooring minimises the joins between each engineered board creating a seamless transition of wood planks across your wood floor. Bevelled engineered flooring is more appropriate for that rustic feel of traditional hardwood flooring.

Suitability of Our Flooring

Thanks to its rigidity and resistance to the atmosphere, engineered wood flooring is ideal in places where solid wood flooring would not be a viable option. For example, conservatories that absorb large amounts of heat need flooring that will not expand, or even cellars that need wood flooring which can be laid on top of concrete.

Electric underfloor heating for engineered wood floors

We highly recommend the use of electric underfloor heating systems such as ecoFilmset underfloor heating systems for use with engineered wood flooring. Electric underfloor heating will provide heat from below your engineered wood floors to the entire flooring area.
