Engineered 189mm Oak Flooring Special Offer!

Engineered 189mm Oak Flooring Special Offer!

The engineered 189mm planked oak is sanded and available with three different finishes, Oiled, Lacquered, Brushed and Lacquered or Unfinished. The boards are planked to give a fantastic wide board look. The boards are bevelled alongside and are tongue and grooved on all 4 sides. Although this is a rustic grade there is a limited amount of knots which gives a much cleaner finish and can be described as a "classic" grade.

Engineered flooring is perhaps perfect solution for when you require a wooden floor that will cope easily in conditions where regular wood may not suffice.

For example, engineered flooring is the perfect when installed in conjunction with an under floor heating system as it allows for simple and seamless warmth around your home, removing the need for radiators and eradicating those cold spots in your rooms. For more information on this, please take a look at our under floor heating section.

Another advantage of installing an Engineered Floor would be the higher level of durability that an engineered floor provides when compared to a regular wood floor - unlike solid wood flooring, engineered floors are unaffected by changing humidity and can therefore be placed in cellars and in south facing rooms.

Engineered flooring embodies many of the attractions of solid wood but is not prone to cupping or warping. This is full plank flooring that will give a traditional, exceptionally attractive finish to any room of the household, providing a wonderful compliment to either the traditional or contemporary home.
